Gujarati Hindu new year Vikram Samvat 2067 begins today.

People of Gujarat visit friends and relatives on this day to wish them ‘Sal Mubarak’ through out the new year day which is known as ‘Bestu Varsh’.

This is the biggest festival of year for Gujaratis. The day starts by paying visit to the nearest temple.

New year calendar begins with the month of Kartak.

The Vikram Era started with Raja Vikramaditya of Ujjain, following his victory over the Saka in 56 B.C. The new year begins with the first day of Kartik following Deepawali Amaavasya. Vikram Samvat is an ancient Hindu calendar.

Vikram Samvat is 56 years ahead of the Christian Calendar and runs on the Gregorian Solar System. It shows the same time with the Jain year. Today, stock markets in India mark the new year on the Vikram Samvat during Diwali.

I guess its become a fashion in India,for any thing we go on strike.PRICE RISE is a really serious issue.Bharat Bandh will bare Indian Public a loss of Rs.10,00 crore.here prices r rising like hell and MPs want their pay scales to be increased.They think they really do lot of KAAM n shud be paid for that.according to a report INDIAN Govt is taking 3 Rs.extra per litre of petrol.the prices in International markets are going down but up in India.Cos they have to fill in their bellies.CONGRESS once said "CONGRESS KA HATH AAM AADMI KE SATH" but now its felt as if congress is slapping aam admi wid price rise.wadevr,,,,...v have to face them cos v chosen them to rule over us....Its timke we have to rise up n throw out this rulers n take over.JUst siting in houses wont work,We have to take the responsibility........

its been long time

Its almost 6 months m back here...life is so much changed for me now.Ne friends new place.new collage....dunno...thots miffed in mind....

last year n dis year

first post of this year......2009 for me horrendous year.All things went out of d way.first ma resutls were spoiled.I was very lonely n shattered.was searching for love.it came in life but by he year end ,it went off.This year took many things away from me.MY love n my best friends.I had stayed alone before but dis tym i was lonely.Worst thing is wen you do everything for oders n in return dey go away...



But this is d tym to forget all the past cos lyf is to MOVE on.I hope dis 1 will prove a good one and bring me happiness for me n all.......

WHY??

Y? Always me?I don't understand why it happens with me only? Whenever ny1 need i stand by der side but y? ppl leave me as soon as der purpose is served??

Life

life.........a simple 4 letter word..but its turns n twists r so dat u cnt expect or predict wad will b the next...This moment u r on the top of the world the very next moment u'll b so down that u wont even have energy to lift up urself...

chalta hai cos after every sunset der is a new sunrise n after every fall ders a new rise cos life is all about to move on.Time heals all wounds unless we sit scratching them.Main thing is to come out of the past and living for today without thinking of tomorrow.Ya if you want to remember the past remember all the good incidents and think wadever bad was just a dream or a Misprinted page from the book of life.

There's nothing to feel low when nything bad happens cos "Eveything in life has a beautiful ending.If its not beautiful then b sure that its not the ending but beginning of something better."

Everything in life happens for a reason.And on somethings we dont have control.And when such situations arises its better to go with the flow then to STOP der and STOP everything.People end up their life for sometimes some silly reason...Y? frustrations,depressions are part of our life n decisions taken during that time may prove fatal..
Y to give up such a beautiful Gift of life wen v r blessed with it?and y do v always need to look up al the bad things around us..If v see there are lots of good things around us.In spite of thinking who left us v should think who is with us.

Some ppl r scared to start up cos they fear betrayal or rejection but I would like to tell al those ppl TRY Once ...Life is not so bad...its beautiful and joyful.U just need eyes to search it and heart to feel it..Whenever u feel low speak it up.It will help ya reduce frustrations..AND I will always be with you .JUst try to speak to me.....


Whenever you fall rise up again cos "TOMORROW IS ANOTHER DAY"

some times in life v give so much importance to others that v forget to live for ourselves,think of ourselves or dont give time for any one else n wen that said SPECIAL person leaves us we are left all alone cos we have never given time to any1 else except that person.We are so much indulged in that person that we find it unbelievable that person has left us.we are so much used to them and to b close to them we have to go away from many others.We lose so many other people who care for us and finally what we get is loneliness and betrayal. what v mistake as love is actually attraction for few moments..........and then its all over........
It doesnt mean that we shud not give importance to our special ones but doing that we shud c dat v dont forget ourselves or other people around who cares for us.

Due to unbelievable success of Facebook, Google had to take efficient measures in order to be competitive and renewed design to its social networking website. Despite the fact of unpopularity for the latest few months the site will have a large number of visible changes in the appearance. The updated re-design of Orkut is made based on Google Web Toolkit (GWT) infrastructure. Users will have an opportunity to find friends directly, they will be able to talk via video chat which is interconnected with Google Talk. It will help the users to download the pictures in the most quickly way, give the opportunity to moderate pictures on-line and it provides an interactive activity stream for users.

The activity stream functions as a status message update in terms of Twitter and Facebook. It has the option similar to the Facebook such as comments. Moreover it also has some additional applications and video testimonials.

As previous avatar of Orkut was insecure, the new version is considered to be much safer and moreover mobile versions will be altered for the iPhone, S60 and J2ME platforms. It is also expected that Orkut will cooperate with other Google services, i.e. “Google bar”. It enables quick access to other Google services.

It was decide to select few users in order they could use the new Orkut. As a result new selected users are able to invite others in order to experience the new Orkut. It provides a community for those users who want to take a preview of the new version.
